So this is my list of all time favourite movies. James Cameron has taken storytelling to a whole new level. I read that he had been working on this film since 1994 and has been waiting for technology to catch up to his vision. What a vision he had. I would love to talk to him about this movie like if the movie turned out the way he envisioned it. Whether it morphed into something else, or something more magical than he first thought of. This movie has many themes and played out like a classic book in an English class. It was environmental, anthropological, scientific, philosophical and futuristic. Cameron made me question whether human beings would go so far as invading another planet in order to strip it of it's natural resources. It was aesthetically pleasing. Extremely visual. I thought this movie was a masterpiece. It was a beautiful story and I think people should watch this in the theatre and watch it properly the way the movie was intended to be viewed.
