Shrink

So I love this movie. Kevin Spacey may be the main character, but he does damaged and neurotic quite well. I know we're all thinking of K-Pax and Beyond the Sea (which I haven't seen by the way, but did poorly) and that Spacey has lost his touch to his greater filsm like The Usual Suspects, but don't let his recent movies deter you. This movie is fantastic. I can see why it never made it to theatres, or at least any big theatres because the story just is marketable for such a large audience. Basically the story is about a grieving man whom is a therapist for celebrities and big name movie industry people and gets handed a case by his father of a teenage girl who is sent to therapy by her principal. Neither wants to be helped and are both dealing with their grief. The movie is well-written, the actors are great and once again I have fallen in love with Spacey's acting and I hope to see him in more great movies soon. It's never too late to save your acting carrer when you take great roles and movies like this one. I love this movie. It's one of the better movies I've seen all year.
