I loved this movie. I was too embarrassed to watch this in theatres because it was 3D so I bought it. I didn't watch it in 3D, but I will eventually. I thought that I would find it difficult to accept that there was living life in the middle of the Earth, but the film itself had some kind of evidence to support its idea which was good enough for me to accept the idea in the film. I liked the family bond between Fraser and Hutcherson. I also got to apply my geology knowledge to this film which was enjoyable for the fact that I actually got to use that knowledge in some way. Although I dislike CGI since it has yet to grasp the realness of actual physical objects, it was okay in this film. Now I didn't say it was great, but it was okay. The scene with the magnetic rocks was cool. After going to Walking With the Dinosaurs, the T-Rex just didn't do it for me visually. The slobber though was pretty funny. It was an awesome family movie.
