I really liked this movie. I don't think its for everyone. I went 2 co-workers of mine. One hated it and the other thought it was so-so and thought some things were overly obvious. I used to play the game and watched others play it for hours. It was true to the game to an extent. There was less narrative, they only used one scene where they slow down the shooting- I can imagine how tiring that would be to watch repeatedly- it moved a bit slow, but it had great effects, motive, emotion, hope and compassion. I liked the use of colour, the cinematography was well crafted, it was definitely a visually appealing film. This one isn't for everyone though, but it wasn't crap like some people have said. I think too many people expect too much from movies this day. Everything has to have a twist and keep you guessing all the time... this was based on a game, and gamees have to be somewhat predictable so that you can figure out what to do next. I thought the confession made sense. Everyone has to confess their dirty secrets, especially when they tell them to hurt others. It wasn't awesome, but it was good.
