Ghost Town

Watching the preview for this, I thought it was going to be mainly a comedy. I was mistaken, and I'm glad it was. It was heartfelt, touching, super hilarious to the point of tears in some scenes and yet it was philosophic, but not down your throat kind of way. As always, Ricky Gervais does subtle sarcasm, blunt honesty and crude behaviour well. It seems only the British can exemplify this humor and not be hated. Gervais didn't write the script or direct the film, but he still made the part his own. This film was a wonderful treat. Leoni and Kinear were great, as well as the other dentist. The perfect film for a Sunday afternoon.
