What you see in the previews and then when you find out what is actually going on in the movie is not the same. I knew this movie was going to be funny once it started and when it did there was a commercial and 3 spoof trailers. I loved it... or well way better than Step Brothers, and finally Ben Stiller is back. Back to Heavy Weights and Zoolander. After his crap film The Heartbreak Kid and seeing him in an Extras episode, really turned me off to watching Ben Stiller. I really only wanted to watch this to see Jr. play a black man and to see Black as an action hero. It was and wasn't what I expected. I loved that Matthew McConaughey was in it. What was the best in the movie was Tom Cruise playing a fat and hairy movie producer who swore and degraded everyone... also he liked dancing to rap music. Just to see Tom Cruise in a comedy was enough for me. There was just so many elements in this movie. Usually American comedies have 2 layers, but this movie had so many, it wasn't just another comedy with action in it. As much has critics may say, this one is nothing else like Stiller's other movies. This one says a whole lot more. The whole mentally disabled "Simple Jack" may have been to much for me, I think that everyone else in the community bagging on this movie needs to see it for what it is, a movie. Its a comedy, not a drama. Comedies make fun of everything we find abnormal in society. That's life. Get over it already. If its not injustices to one person or group, then its injustices done to another person or group. Anyways, this is one of Stiller's finer comedies that he's done. Now I must get some Booty Sweat.
