I never watched the TV series, but I heard from people who did watch the show said that Carell did a really good job. Agent 86 (Carell's character) reminded me of Inspector Clouseau and Leslie Nielsen. It was laugh out funny. I couldn't help laugh in an empty theatre. It was charming, fun and hysterical. It's a great comedy for the summer. I have always been a fan of Carell, his only miss is "Evan Almighty", but what can you do??? The only thing I didn't like was that some of the slapstick was too much and the whole reaching out to the bad guy kind of thing. A summer must see.
