This movie plays like all romantic comedies do. For me, the genre never gets old. The twist, Adams' character is waiting for her boyfriend to propose, but he doesn't. An age old Irish tradition is for a womann to propose to a man on leap day. Adams' character flies to Ireland, only to be washed out and trying to find someone who will take her to Dublin in order to propose on leap day. Disasters ensue as her and Goode's character clash and heat up between the two. For one, I liked that the femme had a different career than do most of the women in this type of genre. I also liked the whole red-haired American taking Ireland by storm. It was a cute movie, entirely predictable blah blah blah. Either way, looking for a good chick flick, this is it.
